Trending lately (slowly but surely), is the high-low dresses and skirts, where it’s longer in the back and shorter in the front. One thing I love about this cut is that you don’t have to worry about stepping or tripping on the front part like I tend to usually do when I am wearing long maxi dresses, since it’s nice and open in the front.
I bought this ‘Ditzy’ dress from Forever 21 for $24.80, and it’s perfect for the summer. I paired it with a brown belt to create a focal point since it’s a printed dress so it doesn’t look so busy and some cute tan lace up peep-toe wedges (also from Forever 21 for $29.80). You can easily accessorize this dress with some cute bracelets (arm candy!) or a gorgeous necklace.
I bought another high-low skirt which I will feature in another post soon. What do you think of this trend? Yay or nay?
It appears so sexy and allusive, I am going to search our a skirt like this for the summer.

I love this trend for regular shirts. They dress up basic pieces and give you extra coverage. There’s one I’m eying on AE.com that has colorblocking in deep fuscia tones!
